Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $140,000 - $185,000 per yearA Bit About UsWe are a well-established Public Accounting firm, supporting local businesses in our community for over 40 years!The Audit Manager will be responsible for leading and managing third-party Audit and Risk Assessments of companies across all industries.The Audit Manager should have 7+ years in a similar role for a public accounting firm.Why join us?• Outstanding work/life balance!• Tons of hybrid flexibility!• Room for growth and advancement!• 100% paid healthcare for individuals!• 8% company 401k contribution!Job DetailsResponsibilities• Plan, manage, and execute complex audit projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.• Supervise and provide guidance to audit team members, fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.• Evaluate and improve our internal audit processes and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.• Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.• Ensure compliance with GAAS and other relevant auditing standards.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the implementation of corrective actions and compliance with regulations.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in regulations.• Lead special audits and investigations as required.Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Master's degree, CPA, or CISA certification is preferred.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in external audit, public accounting, or a similar role in the finance industry.• Proficient knowledge of GAAS, internal controls, compliance, and risk assessment.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data.• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex audit findings to non-technical audiences.• Proficient in using audit software and other related IT systems.• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.• Strong knowledge of industry regulations.Interested in hearing more?
