This role is a perfect fit for a strategic, analytical, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Consulting Buyer will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts, ensuring that all procurement activities align with our corporate strategy and goals. This role will also require a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and the ability to conduct cost analyses and manage logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Materials Management, Purchase Management, Vendor Management, Supplier Evaluation, Logistics Management, Cost Analysis, and Aerospace.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's business goals.2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, and reliability.3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions for the company.4. Manage the entire purchasing process, from requisition to delivery.5. Conduct cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.6. Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.8. Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action when necessary.9. Keep abreast of market trends and changes in the manufacturing industry.10. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.3. Proven experience in Materials Management, Purchase Management, Vendor Management, Supplier Evaluation, Logistics Management, Cost Analysis, and Aerospace.4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.6. Proficient in the use of procurement software and other relevant computer applications.7. In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its supply chain processes.8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.9. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.10.
