Chief Accounting Officer

SUMMARY The Head of accounting US will handle the overall management and supervision of the corporation’s financial operations in US. This includes, but not limited to, full cycle accounting, supervising the work of accountants, reviewing financial statements, and preparing reports for senior management. Additionally, aid in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and streamlining of financial processes and driving financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES· Lead and manage the accounting department, including overseeing day to day operations(A/R, A/P and billing)· General Ledger maintenance· Manage & Maintain Fixed Asset Register· Maintain and File Sales Tax· Manage Intercompany Transactions· Preparation of cash flow projections, budget analysis and monthly, quarterly, year-end reports for management· Bank liaison and point of contact for all Vendors· Manage and maintain the Client and Operating bank accounts, including handling of all currency trades and account reconciliations.· Manage processing of domestic and international Wire and ACH disbursements for all departments.· Provide Departmental Reports to Department Heads and Assist with Analysis of Budget vs Actual results· Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools· Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis· Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts· Prepare and present cash projections on a monthly basisADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES· Contribute to company/department tasks and special projects as assigned· CPA Consultant Liaison· Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate (and implement) their findings and recommendations· Maintain W-9’s & Process 1099’s· Payroll processing in close collaboration with the HR generalist, supervising payroll (ADP) salary’s payment and all associated benefitsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE· MS in Business or Accounting/Finance· 7-10 Years Accounting/Finance Experience· Strong experience with financial statements drafting and financial analysis· Deep Knowledge of GAAP· NetSuite Experience preferred· Prior Industry Experience preferred· Advanced knowledge of MS Office & Mac iOS required· Banking and Credit Card Platform experience required· Experience managing a team is required· Must reside in the surrounding areaSKILLS· Must be flexible and adaptable to change· Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills· Excellent People/Interpersonal Skills· Ability to work with International Teams· Proactive and Able to Take Initiative· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines· Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, attention to detail· Strong leadership skills required· Able to work well under pressure· Strong Organizational Skills· Well-developed Time Management Skills
