This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a robust understanding of the construction sector and a proven track record in managing complex commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage subcontractors.Responsibilities• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing commercial construction projects from ground up to tenant improvements.• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring their tasks are completed on time and within budget.• Develop and maintain project schedules, including 3-week lookaheads, to ensure timely completion of projects.• Monitor project budget and control project costs, implementing cost-saving measures where necessary.• Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards.• Conduct regular site inspections to assess the progress of projects and provide updates to management.• Resolve any issues or delays in the project in a timely and efficient manner.• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.• Coordinate with various teams to ensure all aspects of the construction process are aligned and running smoothly.Qualifications• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.• Proven experience in subcontractor management, budgeting, and construction management.• Experience in managing commercial construction projects from ground up to tenant improvement.• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.• Strong leadership and project management skills.• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate teams.• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.• A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.• Certifications in health and safety and other related areas would be an added advantage.Join us in this challenging and rewarding role where you can contribute to shaping the skyline with your expertise in commercial construction.
