Our programs include an integrated medical and pharmaceutical model that is unique to the industry.Why join us?• Low-Cost Health insurance thru United Healthcare• Critical Illness coverage• Dental Coverage thru Guardian• Vision Coverage thru Guardian• 4 weeks paid vacation.• 9 company paid holidays.• Always off on your Birthday• 401K Retirement plan with Company match• 500K Basic Life insurance coverage• Short term and long-term care coverage• Flex spending account• Health Savings AccountJob DetailsThe Senior Accountant will support overall fiscal services department goals of providing timely and accurate financial information to internal and external users, and maintaining effective internal controls over financial processes.Primary Job Responsibilities• Participates in specific portions of monthly and year-end financial closing process, including analysis of accounts for assigned cost centers, preparing general journal entries where corrections are needed to properly state period-end balances are required, and investigates budget variances identified in assigned cost centers.• Preparation of internal financial statements• Prepares monthly reconciliations for main checking account and accounts payable.• Performs analysis and prepares initial baseline budget recommendations during annual budget process.• Updates fixed assets ledger for asset acquisitions and disposals and maintains reconciliations between the fixed assets ledger and general ledger.• Performs financial analysis relative to areas of responsibility as needed.• Prepares audit support documentation for assigned portions of annual financial statements.• Develops baseline budget data for areas of responsibility.Education And Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration with a major in Accounting.At least 3 years directly related accounting experience.Healthcare Industry Experience Preferred.CPA highly preferredInterested in hearing more?
