We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the bidding and proposal process.Job OverviewAs an Estimator at our client, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate and competitive bids. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that all aspects of the bidding process are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project requirements.Conduct thorough analysis of project scope, materials, and labor requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.Prepare detailed bid proposals, including pricing breakdowns, schedules, and other relevant information.Collaborate with project managers to assess risk factors, develop strategies, and make recommendations for bid submissions.Maintain comprehensive records of bid documents, correspondence, and related information.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements that may impact project costs and timelines.Participate in post-bid meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.Interested in hearing more?
