The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and experience with estimating and interpreting blueprints. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and room for growth within the company.Why join us?Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including• 401(k)• Dental insurance• Flexible schedule• Health insurance• Life insurance• Vision insurance• 8 hour shift• Monday - FridayJob DetailsResponsibilities• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to create accurate and detailed cost estimates• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure estimates meet project requirements and deadlines• Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and timelines• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing and terms• Monitor project costs and make adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project completion• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive biddingQualifications• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry as an estimator or similar role• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawing s• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software• Strong communication and negotiation skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferredInterested in hearing more?
