This opportunity is with an established mid-sized law firm that provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse mix of government clients across the state of Georgia. A minimum of 4 years experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy litigation setting and Paralegal Certificate area required for consideration. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multple tasks and deadlines efficiently.The incoming candidate will work closely with an established team of paralegals and provide support for a wide range of litigation matters including eminent domain and condemnation proceedings, land use, real estate, construction, municipal law, and general civil litigation among others. We are seeking a dynamic self starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys litigation and values teamwork, long-term stability, and organizational culture. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing and recording procedures. Strong Base Compensation & Bonuses• Firm Paid Benefits (100% of premiums covered by firm for medical, dental and vision).• 401k with Company Contribution• PTO and Paid HolidaysJob DetailsThe incoming paralegal will have a dynamic role providing valuable support to the litigation and DIRT (dirt, infrastracture, real estate, and transactions) team of the firm.Key Job Responsibilities• Case Management Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys for real estate, condemnation, eminent domain, and other generalcivil litigation matters.• Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones.• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas.• E-file in State and Federal court systems.• Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients.• Conduct legal research on real estate laws, zoning regulations, property disputes, and other relevant issues.• Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed.• Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.• Assist with special projects as neededA Paralegal Certificate and 4 years of prior litigation experience are required for consideration.
