And we are looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team onsite.Why join us?• Hybrid Schedule• Annual Bonus• Excellent Benefits• 401k & More!Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and proficient Permanent Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring capital spending, conducting forecasts, and reporting, as well as managing the month-end close of fixed assets ledger. This role requires a high level of technical skill, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The candidate will also be responsible for account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reviewing monthly reporting.Responsibilities• Monitor the capital spending, forecasting, and reporting processes.• Ensure the month-end close of the fixed assets ledger is completed accurately and on time.• Conduct account reconciliations and variance analysis.• Review monthly reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with international financial reporting standards.• Prepare and maintain fixed asset roll forwards and capital expenditure reports.• Conduct fixed asset audits and provide recommendations for improvements.• Conduct technical IFRS research and stay updated on the latest developments and changes.• Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create reports, and provide insights.• Utilize knowledge of SAP and Hyperion to manage and maintain financial records and reports.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent capability.• 4+ years of general or fixed asset accounting experience required.• Hands-on capital and fixed asset experience.• Strong understanding and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and GAAP.• Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas.• Proven experience in Fixed Asset Accounting and managing Fixed Assets.• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.• Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.Interested in hearing more?
