The successful candidate will play a critical role in all phases of insurance defense litigation. From inception to resolution, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our attorneys, while also maintaining contact with clients and service providers.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a strong understanding of litigation support. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive under pressure, this could be the perfect fit for you.Why join us?• Hybrid remote• Fantastic firm• Well-established clients• Low turnover• Work/life balance• Amazing benefits.Job DetailsWhat You'll Do In This Growth Role• Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.• Manage and organize large volumes of complex case-related documents, including collecting, reviewing, and producing documents.• Coordinate and manage routine case activities, including depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.• Interact with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys.• Manage case deadlines and keep attorneys informed of upcoming dates and events.• Prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist attorneys during trial.• Maintain case management system by entering data, scheduling activities, and tracking case progress.Qualifications• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in insurance defense litigation.• Proficiency in litigation support software and technology.• Exceptional research and communication skills, both written and verbal.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).• Familiarity with court rules and procedures.• Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is a plus.Join us and be part of a team that values your skills, talent, and contribution.
