You will work closely with compliance licensing and operations in the tech space, where employees handle significant amounts of cash daily. Your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating internal risks, ensuring compliance with state and jurisdictional requirements, and developing and testing standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role offers a wide variety of tasks, from administrative duties to in-depth financial analysis and process examinations.Responsibilities• Investigate and improve existing processes and conduct rigorous testing to identify inefficiencies and risks.• Conduct various types of audits to identify risks and control gaps• Manage licensing with casinos, ensure timely renewals and applications, and follow up with employees across different states and jurisdictions to maintain operational flow.• Research & collaborate with sales teams to gather and analyze data.• Close and analyze revenue streams to ensure accuracy and alignment with expectations, engaging in complex revenue analysis and understanding accounting transactions, including debits and credits• Participate in one-on-one training sessions to learn and develop your career.• Process Examination and Testing (20%) Investigate and improve existing processes and conduct rigorous testing to identify inefficiencies and risks.• Engage in complex revenue analysis and understand accounting transactions, including debits and credits.Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar• 1 or more years of experience in an accounting/ finance related role• Experience with internal audit and project management preferred, but we are also open to backgrounds in tax, general accounting, and finance• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.• Experience or strong interest in compliance and licensing, particularly in the gaming and banking industry.• Ability to work closely with operations in a tech environment, handling substantial cash flows.• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Interested in hearing more?
