Enjoy all the benefits of a large corporation but the open-door work environment of a boutique firm.Why join us?• Casual office environment, we wear jeans & t-shirts• We pay for your downtown parking and cater lunch every day• Great long-term career opportunities• Excellent employee benefitsJob DetailsIs your background a fit?• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related field from an accredited university, Master's is a plus!• 5+ years of accounting experience or bank related experience specific to internal audit; Big 4 experience is a plus!• CPA or CIA is a plus!• Advanced Excel skills with an emphasis on financial modeling• Minimum 3.3 GPA with high SAT/ACT scores (will need to be verified with transcripts)• Entrepreneurial spirit and great attitude• Able to commit to a minimum of 2 years and work a 50-hour work week (8-6 schedule, M-F fully onsite, non-negotiable)What will you be doing?• Coordinate audits conducted by external parties, noting audit exceptions, remedy plans, and tracking them to completion• Prepare audit documentation• Compile and evaluate internal controls, identifying risks and testing processes• Communicate and present audit findings/ recommendations• Assist in bank compliance functionsInterested in hearing more?
