The Key Account Manager will have to develop their technical skills related to the Company product, knowing in detail what we do and sell, prospecting a successful technical sale in the future.Roles & Responsibilities• Establish and maintain new customer relationships with Japanese customers in the United states• Obtain vital market information for marketing/proposal/upper management• Continuously educate customers on Company’s product line & new technologies• Support the Company Team in generating technical & commercial proposals• Participate in on-going discussions with Company Engineering regarding customer product engineering/design/manufacturing• Continuous communication with our Company's Japan and Germany team's• Processing of RFQs, customer contracts, intercompany communication and contracts• Creation of calculations, quotations, presentations etc. according to the company procedures and rules.• Maintaining data in CRM, e.g. Lead and opportunity management, account and contact information• Writing and distributing visit reports and meeting minutes of relevant meetings• Support in project execution phase in close collaboration with project management team and technical departments.• Independent expansion of own skills and knowledge for new technologic in cooperation with specialist in the GROB group and through the “GROB Academy”Education & Experience Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar technical background.• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in technical sales for complex industrial goods, preferably assembly-, machining- and automation systems.• Experience in EV related equipment is preferred• Practical knowledge of mechanical design• Previous machine tool industry experience preferredGeneral Requirements• Japanese native speaker• Excellent organizational and analytical skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English• Self-motivated and team player• Independent work style• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite• Willing to frequently travel national (on average 3 days a week)• Occasional international travels (1-2 times a year)• analytical and systematic, result oriented working style• High Flexibility, team spirit and communication skills• high responsibility in a dynamic work and market environmentInterested in hearing more?
