This role is integral to our operational success, ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of production activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of production procedures and will have excellent problem-solving abilities. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations to enhance business profitability. This role requires an individual with a strong background in production scheduling, forecasting, reporting, inventory management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP).Responsibilities• Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules to ensure optimum utilization of resources, materials, and equipment.• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products, plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).• Prepare and submit status and performance reports to the management team.• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.• Use Microsoft Business Central and advanced Excel skills to manage data and create effective scheduling processes.• Keep abreast of current trends in the manufacturing industry to implement new and improved scheduling strategies.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central.• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including knowledge of VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.• In-depth knowledge of production management.• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.• Attention to detail.• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.Interested in hearing more?
