This role will be responsible for overseeing our company's tax planning and compliance with a focus on optimizing the company’s financial performance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. They will also be experienced in business tax, business strategy, business planning, and business analysis. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a significant impact on our company's financial success.Responsibilities• Manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting and compliance, including preparation, filing, and reporting of federal, state, and local tax returns.• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the company's financial performance.• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.• Work closely with the finance team to prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts.• Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to capitalize on potential tax incentives.• Provide expert tax advice to company leadership to support strategic decision-making.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation is highly preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, tax accounting, or a similar role in the finance industry.• Proven expertise in tax preparation, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.• Strong knowledge of business tax, business strategy, business planning, and business analysis.• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.• Excellent leadership and team management skills.Interested in hearing more?
