This exciting opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional with a solid background in the construction industry. This role involves overseeing all safety aspects of various construction projects, from commercial buildings to data centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and make a significant impact on the safety and efficiency of our operations.Responsibilities• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.• Plan and implement training for personnel in work site safety practices.• Conduct safety inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.• Maintain safety files and records, prepare reports for management as needed.• Oversee the setup of new projects, ensuring all safety measures are in place before work commences.• Conduct site safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.• Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors on project planning, execution, and closeout.• Ensure all construction activities, including framing, site work, commercial, data centers, commercial ground up, tilt up, and commercial projects are carried out in accordance with safety regulations.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role within the construction industry.• Proven experience in framing, site work, commercial, data centers, commercial ground up, tilt up, and commercial projects.• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to safety and compliance.Interested in hearing more?
