This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of passionate professionals who are committed to providing high-quality financial services. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and contributing to financial decision-making processes that will drive our business growth.Responsibilities• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.• Oversee budget and financial management.• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.• Coordinate and complete annual audits.• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.• Plan, assign and review staff’s work.• Support month-end and year-end close process.• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.• Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.• Advanced degree in Accounting or CPA is a plus.• Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.• Expertise in QuickBooks is mandatory.• Strong analytical skills with detail-oriented approach.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong organizational and leadership skills.• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.If you are a seasoned professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for numbers, we would love to hear from you.
