This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and autonomous professional who is seeking progressive growth and is eager to advance beyond the role of a traditional senior accountant. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a desire to contribute to the company’s financial success.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial ReportingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, providing insights to management on financial performance.Assist in the preparation of external financial reports and disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Variance AnalysisPerform detailed variance analysis on financial results, identifying key drivers and trends.Provide actionable recommendations to management based on variance analysis and financial data.Work closely with department heads to understand business operations and their impact on financial performance.Month-End CloseLead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.Account ReconciliationsPerform and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that all accounts are properly reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.Maintain and update account reconciliation schedules, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.Investigate and resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.Collaborate with the finance team on special projects aimed at improving financial operations and controls.Career Growth & DevelopmentTake initiative in expanding your skill set and seeking out new challenges within the finance function.Collaborate with management to set career goals and pursue opportunities for professional development.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and progression towards advanced roles within the company.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
