If you are a passionate, experienced, and dedicated individual who is ready to take on new challenges, we would love to hear from you.Job DetailsResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.• Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insight into company operations and performance.• Applying your comprehensive understanding of financial accounting to ensure the integrity of our financial data.• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting key business drivers and variances to plan.• Managing the general ledger and ensuring it accurately reflects the company's financial transactions.• Generating forecasts and comprehensive budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives.• Identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.• Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.• Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.• Interacting with various departments and team members to help understand financial data and provide them with information needed to make key business decisions.Qualifications• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Engineering industry.• Proficiency in financial statements preparation, financial accounting, financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, general ledger, and forecasting.• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation.• Exceptional analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Interested in hearing more?
