Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $65,000 - $90,000 per yearA Bit About UsOur client, a growing manufacturing firm, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its team!Why join us?Responsibilities• Overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.• Conducting monthly closings, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling general ledger accounts.• Developing and implementing effective standard cost systems.• Preparing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.• Working closely with the production and procurement teams to analyze manufacturing costs, identify variances, and suggest cost-saving measures.• Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting, taking into account production costs, market trends, and company objectives.• Participating in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.• Staying current with industry trends and advancements in cost accounting, participating in relevant professional development opportunities as needed.Job DetailsQualifications• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related manufacturing/construction cost accounting• Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
