Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $85,000 - $100,000 per yearA Bit About UsCome make an impact with a growing organization!Why join us?• Comprehensive Benefits Offering• 401(K) Plan• Generous PTO• Collaborative environment which fosters career advancementJob DetailsResponsibilities• Oversee and manage all aspects of cost accounting, including manufacturing accounting, bill of materials, and general ledger (GL) operations.• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.• Develop and maintain the annual budget, working closely with various department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.• Provide accurate and timely forecasting, leveraging a deep understanding of business operations, market trends, and industry dynamics.• Implement and enforce robust cost accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence.• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required, providing financial expertise and strategic insights.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or scientific industry.• Proven expertise in manufacturing accounting, bill of materials, and general ledger (GL) operations.• Strong proficiency in monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.Interested in hearing more?
