The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our organization, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including earthwork, highways, roads, and wastewater systems. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of project management, contract management, procurement, and project bidding. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including earthwork, highways, roads, and wastewater systems.• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.• Review and evaluate project plans and specifications to identify potential cost factors.• Manage and coordinate the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and resources.• Participate in project bidding processes, preparing detailed proposals and bid documents.• Monitor project progress, comparing actual costs with estimates and adjusting project budgets as necessary.• Provide regular updates and reports to management on project costs and progress.• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing.• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cost estimation techniques.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation or a related role in the construction industry.• Proven experience with project management, contract management, procurement, and project bidding.• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.• Proficiency in estimating software and other industry-related technology.• Excellent numerical skills and a strong attention to detail.• Ability to interpret and analyze complex technical drawings and specifications.• Strong negotiation and communication skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.• Knowledge of wastewater systems, highways, and roads construction will be a significant advantage.• Professional certification in cost estimation or project management will be considered a plus.Join us and bring your expertise to our team.
