As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in all tax-related matters, including tax planning and research, client services accounting, corporate tax, tax preparation, account reconciliation, and financial statements. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in tax accounting and a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns in accordance with federal, state, and local tax laws.• Conduct complex tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies and ensure compliance.• Provide exceptional client services accounting, addressing client inquiries and resolving tax-related issues promptly.• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients.• Manage and review account reconciliation and financial statements.• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax accountants, fostering an environment of learning and growth.• Stay current with the latest industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate and timely advice to clients and management.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes and regulations.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.• Exceptional client service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Interested in hearing more?
