We're seeking a Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This position will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, preparing reports, and providing financial support to our management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the finance industry.ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Staff Accountant, your primary duties will include• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.• Reviewing and improving existing accounting and financial procedures and policies to ensure financial integrity.• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.• Managing accounts payable and receivable.• Conducting regular ledger and bank reconciliations.• Auditing financial documents, transactions, and procedures.• Preparing financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.• Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, posting, and processing day to day transactions.• Using Microsoft Excel for data entry, financial analysis, and reporting.QualificationsTo be considered for the Permanent Staff Accountant position, you will need the following• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.• Solid understanding of financial reporting, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and bookkeeping.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team within the finance industry.
