Due to growth and current/future massive projects, we have an immediate need to bring on experienced Superintendents, Project Managers, and Engineers with experience on large Heavy Highway construction projects. (This post is specifically for PM's please see our other postings for Superintendent / PE positions).If you are a Project Manager witth heavy civil dirt, underground, highway or strucures experience - we NEED you!Why join us?• Competitive Base Salary!• Extremely Competitive Equity Package!• Flexible Work Schedules!• Accelerated Career Growth!Job DetailsThe Estimator is responsible for development of comprehensive construction estimates for Heavy Civil Projects, including, but not limited to quantity takeoffs, subcontractor and supplier solicitation, production and crew analysis, technical and commercial proposal development, and project scheduling. Experience bidding large DOT bridge work -$50 million and above.Essential FunctionsAnalysis of plans, specifications, and other related engineering documents.Computer-aided preparation of quantity take-offs, verification of site conditions, review of construction methods and equipment utilization.Responsible for timely, thorough and accurate take offs.Assist in preparing bid documents and developing construction schedules.Provide and compute production-based costs.Attending pre-bid site visits and investigations.Provide support and transition for successful projects to Operations.Instill Safety as a top priority.Qualifications3-7 years’ experience in highway heavy constructionBachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.Competent in the use of computer software applications including HCSS or similar estimating programs, Agtek or similar earthwork programs, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge in Primavera.Strong communication skills both written and oral.Interested in hearing more?
