This role is integral to our organization, focusing primarily on bridge construction and structural engineering.Responsibilities• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including planning, design, construction, and completion.• Manage daily operations on construction sites, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment.• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety and quality standards, as well as legal requirements.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.• Resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal impact on project timeline and budget.• Provide leadership and direction to construction personnel, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.• Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders, providing accurate updates on project status and any changes.• Continually review and analyze project scope, checking for any potential risks or issues and implementing solutions where necessary.• Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and others to ensure that all work is compliant with local laws and regulations.Qualifications• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role.• Proven expertise in bridge, structural concrete, grading, drainage or paving (concrete or asphalt)• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and legal regulations.• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.• Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.• A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.• Professional certifications in project management or construction management would be an asset.• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed to oversee projects.• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality projects and leading a successful team.
