This role will involve managing all tax-related activities within the organization and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in minimizing tax liability and maximizing profitability, while maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.Why join us?• Medical, dental, and vision• Strong PTO and paid holiday package• Annual bonus• Growth potential• Two office locations• Growth opportunityJob DetailsResponsibilities:• Oversee all tax operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1040 individual returns, s-corps, c-corps, and partnership returns.• Conduct thorough tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure maximum profitability.• Develop and implement effective tax strategies and policies that align with business objectives.• Provide expert tax advisory services to the senior management team, offering insights, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring all tax-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.• Keep abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations, ensuring the organization is fully compliant and capitalizing on any potential tax benefits.• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax management, preferably within the finance industry.• In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.• Strong experience in tax research and planning, with a proven ability to minimize tax liability and maximize profitability.• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-finance professionals.• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• A strong commitment to integrity and professionalism, with a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.If you are a seasoned tax professional with a passion for excellence and a knack for strategic tax planning, we would love to hear from you.
