This role requires an individual with a strong background in tax review, property tax compliance, property valuation and assessment review, budget and forecast, and tax research and planning. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, proficiency with accounting software and property tax management tools, and experience in Oil & Gas Mineral Valuation and/or Oil and Gas Services/Midstream. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.Responsibilities• Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients.• Review complex income tax returns, estimates, and extensions for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.• Conduct property tax compliance, including preparing and filing property tax returns, and manage property tax audits.• Perform property valuation and assessment reviews to ensure accurate and fair property tax assessments.• Develop and maintain budget and forecast models for tax expenses and liabilities.• Conduct comprehensive tax research and planning to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.• Utilize accounting software and property tax management tools to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.• Provide expertise in Oil & Gas Mineral Valuation and/or Oil and Gas Services/Midstream.• Manage and oversee mineral property tax processes and procedures.• Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients.• Maintain excellent relationships with clients by identifying their needs and providing solutions.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.• Experience in Oil & Gas Mineral Valuation and/or Oil and Gas Services/Midstream.• Extensive experience with tax review, property tax compliance, and property valuation and assessment review.• Familiarity with mineral property tax processes and procedures.• Proven experience in tax research and planning.• Proficiency with accounting software and property tax management tools.• Extensive experience with tax review, property tax compliance, and property valuation and assessment review.• Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.• High level of integrity and professionalism.Interested in hearing more?
