Offering a forward thinking modern culture for employees.Why join us?Work/life balance50-55 hour max during busy seasonUnlimited PTO, Friday's off in the SummerFlexible Hybrid401K match and bonusGrowth and Advancement encouragedFun and collaborative cultureJob DetailsDescriptionWorks with the tax team to prepare and learn to review tax returnsProvides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectationsRecognizes and informs senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clientsEnsures professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriateHandles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and complianceStays informed about Firm capabilities other than tax compliance area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriateCompletes research and special projects as neededBasic Skills RequiredBachelors degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 4-5 years of recent experience in Public Accounting with an emphasis in taxationExperience with S Corporations and PartnershipsExperience with FAS109/ASC740Understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and complianceCPA, or currently working toward passing CPA examAbility to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirementsPreferred Skills And ExperienceCPA license a plusStrong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, review experience a plusEffective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good computer skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExperience with a 20-50 person or large regional accounting firm is a plusMasters Of Taxation Preferred, But Not RequiredInterested in hearing more?
