The successful candidate will be responsible for translating various types of documents related to manufacturing processes, technical specifications, and other related materials from Japanese to English and vice versa. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between our international teams and partners, ensuring that our high-quality standards are maintained across different language barriers. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a strong background in the Automotive Industry and a deep understanding of its technical terminologies.Responsibilities• Provide accurate translation of various documents, including but not limited to technical specifications, manufacturing processes, user manuals, and internal communications from Japanese to English and vice versa.• Collaborate with our international teams and partners to ensure clear and effective communication.• Proofread and edit translations to maintain content integrity and accuracy.• Understand and appropriately translate industry-specific terminologies.• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information.• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.• Continuously improve and update linguistic skills and technical knowledge.• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve translation processes and standards.Qualifications• Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional translation, preferably in the Manufacturing or Automotive Industry.• Native or near-native proficiency in both Japanese and English.• Excellent knowledge of industry-specific terminologies and jargon.• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in using translation software and tools.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and to contribute significantly to our international operations.
