We’re here to make your future bright with a discretionary 401K employer match of $0.50 on the dollar up to 6%.Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our team in the Consumer Products Industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that will shape the future of our industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React and Material UI with backend experience using Flask and Python, and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. The UI/UX Engineer will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and implement interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction.Responsibilities• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish the user experience.• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.• Maintain and enhance our suite of web applications, ensuring strong optimization and functionality.• Develop and test software, incorporating innovative features, and ensuring that the design and functionality meet our high standards of quality.• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role.• Expert in React and Material UI• Experience with Flask, Python and Linux is a must.• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.• Advanced knowledge of all stages of the design process (wireframes, mockups, and prototyping).• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus.This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and work on projects that are leading the way in our industry.
