Your Responsibilities As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer within John Deere, you will be responsible for solving problems and evangelizing the benefits of the Site Reliability Engineering discipline across the ISG organization. Responsibilities:
Lead in the anticipation, analysis, and delivery of solutions and infrastructure to increase the resiliency of ISG applications. Implement and Utilize observability tools to Discover, Analyze, and Investigate issues in our Precision Farming Data Platform Systems. Engage with multiple product teams to implement automation and resiliency methods. Develop and Implement common DevOps tools in order to make infrastructure and automation more common across teams. Define and Develop automation and processes for Incident and Problem Management Evangelize the benefits of the Site Reliability to Engineers across ISG and John Deere. What Skills You Need 5 or more years in the following:
Experience in developing applications using AWS products and services (ex. RDS, EC2, S3, ECS, CloudWatch) Practical experience with container technologies (Docker, AWS ECS, etc.) Practical experience in Operational Troubleshooting, Incident Management, and Problem Management Experience in software development, administration, and CI/CD Strong communication and leadership skills including relationship management and conflict management skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills What Makes You Stand Out Experience in the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of large, high priority incidents. Knowledge of Java and Scala standards, practices, and expertise Experience with Terraform or other cloud agnostic tools Experience developing with Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, or other common languages used in AWS Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

$100K -- $150K
