Jr Healthcare Data Analyst - Employee Benefits

The Jr. Healthcare Strategy Analyst position is responsible for working with Underwriting, Data, Account Managers, & Producers in preparing proposal requests, and obtaining and analyzing carrier quotes.

You will also input & analyze data from various automation systems. It also works collaboratively with the underwriting & data teams to perform financial & data analysis of a client’s healthcare plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute competitive bidding of all coverage lines.
  • Prepare PowerPoints outlining financial and contractual analysis according to company policy.
  • Review vendor proposals for accuracy.
  • Assist Underwriting Consultants to evaluate, determine, and recommend alternative coverages, pricing, options, and plan design changes based on analysis of available plan elements and on client/prospect goals.
  • Produce deliverables timely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Develop positive relationships with vendor representatives.
  • Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.
  • Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.
  • Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Represent AssuredPartners in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external Clients.
  • Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Travel is expected to be 10% in this role

Qualifications:

  • Strong employee benefits knowledge and/or math background preferred
  • Life and Health Insurance License and/or obtain within 90 days
  • Great communicator up, down, and across the organization
  • Excels in time management while working with various deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – excel proficiency a must
  • Strong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
