Jr. Account Manager (Fluent in German)

The Position

The Jr. Account Manager position at Machinio.com is critical to the growth of the company. If you are fluent/proficient in German (required), hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make an immediate impact, this role is a great opportunity for you. As a Jr. Account Manager, you will learn how to manage existing client relationships, you will renew their yearly memberships and potentially upsell them, you will maintain their Machinio experience and work with a very driven team on overall client retention. We're innovating a multi-generational $400 BILLION dollar industry. The experience you obtain at Machinio in 3 months is worth more than experience you'd obtain in 1 year anywhere else!

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to all clients' needs, build relationships, and maintain the client's experience with Machinio's services for the duration of their membership.
  • Renew/upsell annual memberships, using effective negotiation skills.
  • Review each account regularly to ensure client's ROI maximization.
  • Report back to the development team on client's technical issues, concerns and any related requests that can be improved/fixed/changed.
  • Collaborate with the renewals team and other teams to improve aspects applicable to your role, as well as to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements:

  • C1 Level in English and German REQUIRED, other languages are a plus
  • Drive, motivation and proactiveness to LEARN
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in learning analytical and negotiation skills
  • Client-focused and problem-solving attitude

Compensation

Base salary + generous commission structure

Our Interview Process:

  • Step 1 - Phone Interview with the Head of Operations to get to know you, your background and tell you about us!
  • Step 2 - Google Meets video interview with our Senior Renewals Manager, to discuss the role in depth.
  • Step 3 - Final interview with one of our Directors.
