The Role
As Junior Analytics Engineer on the Digital Intelligence team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include learning and implementation of all tracking, analytics, events, ecommerce, paid media, dynamic remarketing and 3rd party tracking solutions, all via tag management platforms, namely GTM, Tealium and Adobe DTM or Launch. You will manage an assigned client work queue and must be able to develop custom solutions that will help other Wpromote teams measure (KPI’s) initiatives that roll up to the client’s KBR’s (Key Business Requirements). You will handle q/a, testing, data validity and cleanup for all solutions you develop. You will work with other analytics engineers on the team to continually develop new departmental capabilities and tools sets that may require learning new languages.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $55,000 - $105,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

Supporting, implementing, documenting, maintaining and extending the functionality of Wpromote clients’ tagging infrastructure/environment (GTM, Tealium, DTM & Launch)
- Identifying data quality issues, navigating multiple data sources, and working to resolve data quality issues

Creating simple to complex scripts that may pull data from the DOM, data objects, data layers or JavaScript variables

Working closely with the Digital Intelligence Account Managers to ensure that all solutions meet client expectations, while ensuring the integrity of the data being collected is as requested

Working with other internal Wpromote teams to take business requirements and effectively translate them into functional solutions

Learning how to communicate complex technical requirements to both tech and non tech savvy client teams
- At least 1 - 3 years experience preferred

Coding Experience

Google stack experience (Adobe stack experience a plus)

Skill with debugging strategies and quality assurance

Front-end web development experience with a proficiency in coding JavaScript and jQuery

Comfort with a ‘Tree Data Structure’, specifically for the Document Object Model

Experience creating data Objects, Sets, and Arrays

Knowledge on how to iterate through objects on a website

The ability to research, quality assure, and test existing or newly developed tracking solutions

Familiarity with JSON, schema, and structured data sets

A focus on innovative problem solving, with a proclivity for coding

The ability to write technical implementation documentation

Effective written and verbal communication skills
