Junior Community Manager

the Role.

OLIVER is currently looking for a qualified Junior Community Manger to join one of our in-house social media teams. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media campaigns and promotional events, we would like to meet you!

Our ideal candidate has experience with social media, video, imagery, strategy, and marketing campaigns. Furthermore, strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop engaging content. You should be a natural born storyteller with great customer service skills and have the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

  • Work closely with the Senior Community Manager and Content Strategist to develop and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies and brand voice
  • Work with our in-house creative team to create engaging video, copy and static assets for all social media channels
  • Engage with consumers and audiences on social platforms, representing the brand tone in all post copy
  • Support the Account Director and Senior Community Manager in regular mailers to influencers and fans of the brand
  • Monitor and report on feedback, online reviews, performance metrics, and growth
  • Responsible for monitoring conversation to publish proactive and reactive content
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Coordinate with Clients and agency teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Liaise with the brand to stay updated on new products and features
  • Nurture relationships to grow community awareness and identify trends

  • Experience in advertising and or public relations agencies
  • Experience writing copy in a Community Management role
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community trends and metrics
  • Great verbal communication skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Experience with social media tools
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe creative suite a plus

  • Location: Chicago, IL hybrid onsite
