Junior Designer

About Us

Minute Media is a leading global sports content and technology company. We create authentic stories from diverse perspectives across our portfolio of content brands, which include The Players' Tribune, 90min, FanSided, DBLTAP, Mental Floss and The Big Lead.

We are looking for a Junior Designer who will be responsible for working across commercial partnerships across all Minute Media’s brands with a primary focus on sport, and a secondary focus on gaming, entertainment and pop culture. This person will work cross-departmentally as an integral part of the commercial team. The role reports to the Design Lead.

What You’ll Do

  • Become an important member of the creative team, creating first-class print and digital projects including mock-ups, adverts, infographics, newsletters, presentations and storyboards
  • Manage day-to-day creative projects adhering to production and internal deadlines
  • Coming up with innovative solutions for potential clients, with a particular focus on Minute Media’s core football brands (The Players’ Tribune and 90min)
  • Work collaboratively with Creative Solutions Strategy and Sales on brainstorming new commercial opportunities
  • Demonstrate speed, efficiency and progressive design, while remaining organised and communicative
  • Coordinate well with other teams; sometimes presenting work and managing schedules

Requirements:

What You Have

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint
  • Illustration experience is a plus
  • CSS knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work successfully with teams, both internal and external
