Job Summary:

THE TEAM

Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, eCommerce, and artist management. At Ticketmaster Fans come First, as the world’s leading ticketing company, we are committed to setting the standard for a great fan experience. The Junior Financial Analyst role sits within the Fan Experience Team. The team is responsible for 23 Contact Centres and Offshore BPO partners, we work across the world to support fans and clients needs.

THE JOB

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be part of the Ticketmaster Fan Experience and Fan Support teams. The Junior Financial Analyst will provide finance and accounting support to Ticketmaster’s Fan Experience team. Major responsibilities include assisting with the annual budgeting process and forecast updates, preparing various operational and capital cost tracking schedules, cost allocations, and coordination of purchase orders and invoice processing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Participate in monthly close activities, including account reconciliation, G/L analysis, and accruals/journal entries liaising with accounting teams to ensure P&L accuracy.
  • Maintaining Financial and Non-Financial database for Monthly Reporting, Modeling and Budgeting.
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management reports, including variance and trend analyses at the Regional and Department levels.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets.
  • Maintain Shared Resource Cost Allocation Process.
  • Provide support to the business teams for purchase orders and invoices to facilitate timely vendor payments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of accounting work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Oracle and BPC experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
