CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Junior Network Administrator to join our IT Team in either Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA or Miami, FL.

CHA's corporate groups support our technical sectors and market teams with financial, legal, business development and marketing, human resources, information technology and operational services to meet our clients' evolving needs.
The Junior Network Administrator position is primarily responsible for the daily care and feeding of on premise and Azure Cloud network infrastructure under the direction of the Network Operations Manager and Lead Network Administrator.
Additional responsibilities include configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues, monitoring infrastructure security, making change recommendations, implementing approved changes to the infrastructure, and setting up new equipment. The Junior Network Administrator will field incident requests and escalations in support of the helpdesk team.
The Junior Network Administrator will be expected to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve network infrastructure and application issues consistently and methodically. The Junior Network Administrator will also document network topologies and configurations as they change. The Junior Network Administrator may be called on to work on licensing and budgeting related tasks and develop end user training as needed. Travel to other company offices is required.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, industry certifications or professional experience

Minimum 3 years of technical support directly supporting end users

Desktop level certification (deploying, managing) preferred

Minimum of 2 years of network support preferred

Microsoft server certification and/or network certifications preferred

Strong demonstratable PowerShell scripting for Windows administration skills strongly preferred

Azure Infrastructure administration skills preferred

Demonstrates an ongoing personal history of professional development and learning

Must be trustworthy and able to work independently and within a team environment

Strong documentation skills required

Ability to travel (~15% of the time)
