Junior Program Control Associate

LinQuest is seeking a Junior Program Control Associate to join our team in California. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance is required.

As a Junior Program Control Associate, you will provide pricing and other financial support to both internal and external customers. In this role, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, validate, organize and analyze finance data.
  • Support the development of financial models for new projects.
  • Provide budget calculations/analysis/forecasts.
  • Support risk and uncertainty analysis.
  • Maintain cost databases (including data collection, validation).
  • Support cost management of subcontracts.
  • Support cost proposal pricing.
  • Respond to information requests from Government within the scope of the contract.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting , Finance, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3+ years.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft tools.
  • Ability to learn new software tools.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently or as a member of a team, as appropriate.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Budgeting and Planning System, Cognos, Unanet, Salesforce (preferred).

Compensation for California: The salary for this position is up to $87,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
