Junior QA Engineer - Contract

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand website requirements.
- Design and execute manual test cases to validate website functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct functional, regression, and compatibility testing across different web browsers and devices.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and issues found during testing.
- Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in website content and layout reviews to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Continuously learn and explore new testing methodologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing, preferably with web-based applications.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for troubleshooting and debugging.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
