Junior Social Content Designer collaborates with social copywriters to develop social-first concepts and content based on creative briefs. They generate original, thumb-stopping ideas while supporting more senior creatives whenever possible. The ideal candidate is a team player—comfortable with learning and contributing to creating social content across platforms. You're hungry to learn, self-motivated and excited to take your social proficiency to work.

Responsibilities:

Develop social posts in partnership with a junior social copywriter
Create concepts and visuals native to the appropriate social channels
Work within brand design systems to create the visuals for social posts, using tools from Adobe Creative Suite to a phone video camera
Stay up on social trends, bringing and sharing their social perspectives to benefit the work
Collaborate with all departments as a team player to ensure that the needs of your brands and senior teammates are met

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or certificate program completion preferred
Portfolio preferred. Please submit a link to your work when applying
0-6+ months of professional art direction or design experience, social media examples preferred
Ability to generate and communicate original ideas effectively
Evidence of creative ability/talent
Other duties as assigned*

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience and qualifications.
