Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with the senior project management team to support the successful execution of technology projects in Treasury, Financial Reporting, Procurement and other financial-related business processes. Your responsibilities will include coordinating project activities, tracking project progress, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in the field of project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project activities, including project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documents. Generate accurate and timely reports to communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, to gather project requirements, communicate project updates, and address any issues or concerns.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues by closely monitoring project progress, conducting risk assessments, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards by conducting thorough reviews, testing, and verification of project outcomes.
Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting budget status to senior project management.
Team Support: Provide support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, facilitating communication, and maintaining project-related documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of project management processes and methodologies by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing best practices, and sharing lessons learned.

Location:
This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the midtown NYC office

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
Project Management Knowledge: Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with Waterfall or Agile / Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Technical Background: Strong interest or background in technology-related projects. Basic knowledge of software development, infrastructure, or other technical domains is desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address project issues proactively.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project documentation and deliverables.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Planview, JIRA, or similar platforms, is a plus.
Knowledge of FinTech or FinOps is a plus

NYC Pay Range: from $50/hr to $65/hr
