As the Director of Channel Sales for EMEA/APAC, you will be responsible for owning and driving the regional channel sales strategy with clear and focused direction. You will develop and implement a robust channel program that aligns with our overall sales objectives, driving growth through effective partner relationships. Leading a growing team of Channel Managers, your mission will be to identify, onboard, and cultivate regional channel partners.

The role

Your main responsibility will be to drive growth in Channel Sales across the EMEA/APAC region. Leading a team of Channel Managers, the team focuses on expanding and nurturing our portfolio of new and existing channel partners, turning these relationships into significant sales opportunities. You'll ensure the successful implementation and execution of the Channel Strategy to achieve profitable sales and market share growth in the region. This senior leadership role reports to the VP of Sales, EMEA/APAC, and is a key member of the EMEA/APAC leadership team.


Responsibility

  • Own and drive the overall channel sales plan with clear direction, actions and milestones to achieve desired outcome.
  • Develop and implement a robust channel program, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategies and driving growth through effective partner relationships.
  • Identify and pursue strategic opportunities that drive revenue growth through a scalable setup of resellers across geographical markets and segments.
  • Lead the channel sales team in acquiring new channel partners.
  • Ensure the team manages existing channel partners, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth. 
  • Orchestrate multiple stakeholders internally and externally to drive commercial success.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and channel needs across segments, leveraging insights to refine channel sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Recruit, retain and mentor high-performing team members, setting clear goals and expectations, and providing coaching and guidance to drive success and exceeding targets.
  • Monitor and analyze channel sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership, and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Providing decisive leadership and guidance to the team, nurturing a culture of excellence, and optimizing revenue-generating opportunities all while adhering to the company values and Commercial Mantras.
  • Ensure high team engagement and motivation as measured by company engagement surveys and foster a high performing team culture. 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a senior channel sales leadership role, ideally with enterprise-level experience in the SaaS industry on a global scale.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute plans with precision.
  • Highly organized, with a proactive and systematic approach to planning.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Expertise in setting and managing expectations effectively.
  • Comfortable in a result-oriented environment where things are moving fast.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel and exceed targets in a rapidly growing environment.
  • A collaborative team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
