Specific duties include but are not limited to

GatesAir is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager for our Transmission team; located in the NW US territory. This person must demonstrate competent knowledge of business activity within the territory and and proven sales track record within the territory The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

  • Achievement of sales revenue targets.
  • Management of major customer sales.
  • Cultivation and maintenance of key customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Responsibility for the resolution and co-ordination of all sales and technical issues.
  • Sales revenue and pipeline forecasts and prospect tracking.
  • Preparation and dispatch of sales quotations, including service contracts.
  • Preparation and presentation of product sales proposal presentations.
  • Provide accurate and competent knowledge of the full company product range, with basic technical knowledge in order to converse with customers and the technical department in order to resolve customer issues or enquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Broadcast industry experience coupled with a proven track record in a solution-based sales environment.
  • Must have knowledge of Transmission products, preferably GatesAir products.
  • Basic technical knowledge of broadcast systems in order to converse competently with customers.
  • Experience developing forecasts, managing pipeline and business plans to achieve assigned goals is essential.
  • Should have a flexible and professional approach to their work at all times.
  • Must be proactive in their business approach.
  • Must be able to travel frequently throughout the region - up to 50%.
