Forex operations Intern

At Kantox we are looking for an Intern to join the Client Transactions team within our Operations (Ops) department. The internship will have an initial period of 6 months.

The Operations (Ops) Team is core to the functioning of Kantox - it is at the centre of daily FX trading and payment operations, as well as client transactional support interactions.

FX Client Transactions (Ops) mission within Kantox

• Assisting clients and supporting them with their transactional needs.
• Maintaining the Kantox platform and overseeing all trading aspects of it. 
• Working with our Settlements, cash and customer success team to resolve trade/payment related issues. 
• Collaborating with other departments such as our Technology team on automation initiatives and process improvements. 
• Maintaining organised records and compiling data to assist in ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Automating manual processes with the collaboration of our team of engineers.

Who you are

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar.
• General interest and enthusiasm for Financial Markets.
• A level of understanding of FX basics (spots, forwards, swaps, NDFs).
• Experience with MS Excel is considered a plus.

Furthermore, we are looking for the following attributes:

• Fluent English language skills; Spanish or French is considered a plus.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and prioritising deliverables. 
• Critical thinker, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive and self-starting approach.
• Result and quality oriented.
