Logistics Center Associate I- Customer Returns

I. POSITION SUMMARYThe Logistics Center Associate I – Dock has responsibility to utilize SAP transactions as well as internal documentation processes to account for and control the arrival/distribution of materials. Typically, materials include finished goods from suppliers/manufacturers, return goods, supplies, corrugated boxes, as well as a variety of other items used in day to day operations. Logistics Center Associates are expected to support and contribute to the KSEA continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. You will be required to adhere to established safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement standards.Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PMII. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS• HS Diploma or GED• SAP experience preferred• Ability to follow direction• Basic computer knowledge• Team oriented• Effective communication skills• Dependable• Punctual• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS• Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing• Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs• Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance• Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance• Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves• Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack• Ability to use standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.)• Actively participate in LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives with a high level of engagement.• Unpack and sort inbound shipments, matching products and quantities against invoice or packing slip.• Identify and document shipping errors and/or damages.• Process non-inventory SAP receipts• Generate and monitor LPN’s• Oversee inbound/outbound dock lanes and cross-dock operations• Schedule and direct truck drivers coming into the facility• Identify and deliver product throughout the Logistics Center• Cross-train in other inbound tasks.• Responsible for the transport and disposal of refuse created during operations.• Use battery powered lift equipment to unload, transport, and deliver inbound material to specific locations within the Logistics Center.• Perform other task as requested by the Inspection Supervisor.• Be able to fill in at any other position within Inspection.
