Position Overview:

The Director of Order to Cash Reporting and Analysis will lead a team to support the company’s growth initiatives through strategic and operational reporting and analysis focused on the order to cash cycle. This position will be reporting to the Head of Finance Operations and have a team of two to four people, which this position will be instrumental in hiring and developing this team. This is a hands-on leadership role that will require strategic thinking coupled with a natural curiosity of the business to leverage and build detailed analytics to support the Order to Cash cycle including: Billing, Credit, Collections and Billing Support processes.

In this role you will:

• Develop a reporting strategy and cadence to ensure all teams from, Executive level to each person supporting our customers, has the data needed to drive continuous improvements and make decisions
• Analyze and interpret financial and operational data to support strategic decisions and inform Order to Cash strategies
• Analyze and reconcile ARR and Billings with a deep understanding of the relationship between the two
• Automate reporting & ensure there maintains an understanding and connection with how the data connects to the business and other teams
• Create, analyze and distribute weekly Order to Cash reporting analytics to Executive team
• Create, analyze and distribute weekly detailed Operational reporting to support the Billing, Billing Support, Credit and Collections teams
• Develop and maintain an Order to Cash forecast model (including billings and collections) informed by operational metrics and KPIs
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational results and present findings to executive team
• Recruit, hire and develop a reporting and analytics team to support the order to cash cycle
• Partner with Accounting as needed for reporting and reconciliations

Required Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience in reporting and analysis roles, preferably in a subscription-based business
• Deep understanding of the Order to Cash cycle including Billing, Credit, Collections and Support processes
• 5+ years in a managerial or director-level role.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems including Power BI, Netsuite, Salesforce
• Knowledge of Snowflake data platform and programming languages for data analysis (e.g. Python) a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
