Data Analytics Engineer, Data Analytics & Infrastructure (Finance)

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team. They are a global travel search engine company focused on transforming the in-travel experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and ingesting data into financial forecasting models, building data pipelines, and collaborating on building software for data collection and analysis.

Skills

5+ years' experience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, and reporting
3+ years' experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
3+ years' experience with EPM technologies like Essbase or Anaplan
5+ years' experience with RDBMS and SQL or other data integration/ETL tools
Strong, hands-on SQL experience
Experience in Python or Object-oriented programming

Responsibilities

Prepare and ingest data into financial forecasting models with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
Build data pipelines and reporting infrastructures
Develop new FP&A processes and analyses
Implement SQL composition skills for data collection and analysis
Maintain and design early warning and analytics systems using cloud data technologies
Collaborate on building software for data collection and querying
Improve data ingestion models, ETL jobs, and alarming
Work cross-functionally with various teams on solutions dealing with large volumes of data

Education

Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering
