Java Search Engineer

KAYAK is looking for Java backend developers to improve and maintain their world-leading travel search technology, contributing to a high-powered team that enhances user experiences.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Java and its data structures
Experience with SQL, HTTP, XML, JSON
Solid experience working on APIs

Responsibilities

Implement new backend search and booking features for Hotel Search Team
Improve existing features focusing on speed and user experience
Build and maintain existing integrations with third-party APIs

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
